Candidates with basic knowledge of the clothing industry:

High school technical diploma, post secondary technical diploma
OR
3 to 5 years of experience in the clothing industry

AICP's training programs are available to you :

· Alterations and custom finishing
· Technical sourcing documents, design and spec packages
· Technical english
· Fabric technology and evolution

The AICP's curriculum and academic content has constantly evolved alongside the new technologies and techniques in patternmaking (custom-made and industrial clothing manufacturing).

After completing the educational components and internships (pending results and evaluations) the diploma of "International Clothing Patternmaker" is awarded by the AICP and recognized by the French government as Level III or 2 years of post secondary education..


A Hands-on Experience

During the internships the students are able to directly apply all know-how and techniques from our classrooms onto the garment construction procedure. Our educational facility is equipped with the most up-to-date software (Gerber, Lectra) and all other patternmaking tools to immerse our students in a veritable reproduction of a patternmaking workshop offering a variety of technical solutions and practices to deal with daily garment construction difficulties and challenges.
