Manon Boric, a recent graduate of AICP’s Bachelor’s degree in Fashion & Technical Apparel Designer, has been awarded the Caroll Prize by Groupe Beaumanoir at the Dinan International Fashion Designers Festival. This distinction, which will lead to the development of a capsule collection with the Caroll brand, recognizes a body of work where creativity, sensitivity and technical expertise come together.
A Prestigious Recognition at the Dinan Festival
The Dinan International Fashion Designers Festival is a major event for emerging fashion talents. Each year, it shines a spotlight on young designers and offers them the opportunity to present their creative universe to industry professionals.
As part of this year’s festival, Manon Boric was awarded the Caroll Prize by Groupe Beaumanoir. This achievement will give her the opportunity to develop a capsule collection in collaboration with Caroll, providing a valuable bridge between creative vision and the realities of the fashion industry.
During the award ceremony, Emeline Beaumanoir, Factory Director at Groupe Beaumanoir, highlighted that Manon’s selection was an obvious choice due to the quality of her work, which successfully combines strong technical expertise with a creative and poetic approach.
Manon Boric’s Creative Vision Recognized
Through her brand Abrahmi, Manon Boric explores a personal reflection on garments, the body, and movement. Her creative process is rooted in the deconstruction of volumes, proportions, and traditional clothing codes in order to imagine new forms of expression.
Her aesthetic draws inspiration from architecture and sculpture, particularly in their relationship to structure, balance, and volume construction. This research is also fueled by a desire to reinterpret the sensations associated with her southern French roots: light, materials, freedom of movement and the relationship between clothing and the body.
Through her creations, Manon seeks to design a wardrobe that is both free, intuitive, and functional, where minimalism and personal expression coexist. This vision, supported by a high level of precision and craftsmanship, clearly resonated with both the jury and Groupe Beaumanoir.
A Success That Highlights AICP’s Expertise
Manon’s journey illustrates the importance of combining creative design with technical excellence in the fashion industry. After studying STD2A (Sciences and Technologies of Design and Applied Arts), completing a DN MADE Fashion and Image, gaining professional experience in Paris, and attending an intensive fashion design and pattern-making program at IFM, she joined AICP directly in the third year of the Fashion & Technical Apparel Designer Bachelor’s degree to further strengthen her pattern-making expertise.
This award highlights the key skills demonstrated through her work: garment construction, mastery of volume, technical precision, structural understanding, and the ability to transform a creative concept into a tangible product. It also reflects AICP’s commitment to training professionals who can combine technical excellence, creativity and innovation in the service of the fashion industry.
At AICP, we support our students in this demanding journey, where technical know-how is an essential foundation for helping designers fully develop their identity and fashion vision.
